Product Designer[Remote]

Peatix is looking for a product designer. You’ll be responsible for designing and evolving features of our extensive web application platform.

What you'll do

  • Design UI/UX solutions that fit within the larger experience of using Peatix.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and other team members to fully understand an issue and work on solutions.
  • Incorporate UX research in your design process.
  • Take part in early product ideation to designing how the final working product should behave and look like.
  • Create mockups and flows for user interfaces and communicate those with the team.
  • Proactively identify existing usability issues and contribute to design documentation.

Qualifications

  • You'll be working with a distributed team, so there is an emphasis on being a great verbal and written communicator.
  • You have an interest in learning and are self-driven.
  • You see feedback as an opportunity to learn and grow.
  • You have experience in UX research.
  • You have a solid understanding of web UI and best practices.
  • You have experience in creating UI/UX for web applications and have a solid understanding of web UI and best practices.
  • You are comfortable working with figma to create designs.
  • You have worked with design systems.

  • You have a good understanding of how things work technically on a conceptual level (e.g front end, back end, APIs, database).
  • You have an interest in designing for a culturally diverse audience.
  • Location

    You can work remotely from almost anywhere, though we’ll look favorably on candidates that are located in APAC region.

    In the APAC region Peatix has offices in Tokyo, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. If you’re located in those cities, you’re welcome to work in the office.

    You'll be working with team members in Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, the United States and the UK.
