How it started
Peatix launched in 2011 following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, when people were looking for ways to reconnect, gather, and support one another. The platform was created to make organizing and participating in community projects and events more accessible, and today, that purpose continues to guide what we do: supporting organizers and helping people find experiences worth showing up for.
